A few excerpts from all your wonderful 'fanmail' emails:
> I have only today been introduced, accidentally I might add, to your writing. I have downloaded your free e-book, #1 in a series entitled: “A Man Loves A Boy”. From the first word to the last, I have read it all night! As a writer and author myself, I was completely entranced. As a reader, I was enveloped into a world from which I do not wish to depart.
Such a man as Harry I should one day love to meet. The cast of characters surrounding him I should love to hold, and hug, and dance with. And, what of young Harry Romani? Oh, that I should know him! Yet, after reading the beginnings of his story, I do. What you have created, or recalled of this young old soul, leapt into my heart and has taken residence there.
Your writing is sublime. Your characters are complete. Your scenes are elegantly fashioned, and completely inviting to your reader. Yet, in the seeming chaos, your writing imbues such wonderful truth, and strength, and undiluted goodness as to refresh my soul! Lest I fail to mention it, I am now a dedicated fan, friend of your characters, and a devoted helper of their Guide.
I will be reading the complete series, and look forward to a continuing and life changing adventure. Thank you so very much for the enjoyable, yet so very necessary work you have done for this reader, and for such a hurting world. Thank you.> Thank You, Thank You, for such a moving, loving story. Your
interpretation of the love and sorrow pass from the words into a surreal world
of life. I have tears in my eyes as I read every word which you have written.
Your story is about LOVE. I am so proud to have been able to
read it, you do, truly, have a passionate understanding of the English
language, even though it is not your natural tongue. Keep up the fantastic work
you are doing, the story lines are really believable. I look forward, with
great anticipation.
> Some of my favorite books are ones where I can’t tell whether it's real or not. Now, I DO know that this is fiction, but because the writer has crafted such an engrossing, rich story filled with complex characters and tense emotional situations, I get so engrossed in it that it seems real! Rarely does one encounter a story that has as much personal, raw experiences embedded in it.
Perhaps it is because the writer is a psychotherapist, applying his lifetime of psychological and therapeutic knowledge to the creative endeavor of writing. However, do not believe that his stories are merely a case study disguised as a fictional narrative. No, the Dutch writer has employed the entire field of psychotherapy to this book, including the often neglected but equally important extra-mental phenomenal experiences. These include such things as psychic mediums, past lives, spirit helpers, and the like. Magically interwoven into the narrative, these extra-mental phenomenal experiences just add to the richness of the story.
Rather than your standard mystery or thriller, this emotional roller coaster entertains through the beautiful narrative creativity of the written adventure. No guns, no murders, no conspiracy theories or the like, it is simply the adventure between a man and a child who turns out to be a very special boy. I highly recommend this book - not only is it perfect for people looking for a great read, but also for parents or individuals who deal on a regular basis with young adults or who simply love them.
> Thank you, for your wonderful story.
I've enjoyed each and every chapter. The writing is so gentle and filled
with love that it makes most of the other stories seem a little like "little
pieces of dirty laundry" (should be hidden away). I look forward to
reading the tale of Little Harry, I search the new
releases each and every day.
> You are a
good storyteller and know how to tell a tale of love and tenderness.
> You’ve really touched my heart with this tender, gripping
tale, and I have the feeling it’s only going to get better and better as
it progresses, and as Big Harry learns to know Little Harry. What amazing kids
that bunch of neighbor children are! John is such a
little man, so mature already, and I absolutely adore the way they have taken
the poor little gypsy boy into their hearts and lives. Jack must have been an
amazing man, and I have the feeling Harry is just as wonderful.
> Just read your story and must tell you that it has brought
many tears to my eyes. I don't think you need any suggestion on how to continue
as you seem to have a gift to write from the heart.
> I don't know if you are religious but the Bible says that God made
man and said it was good. I have to assume that means all of man, including his
sexual nature. Sex itself can't be "bad" if God said what he made was
"good." It's how it's used that makes it good or bad. I can't believe
that sexual feelings in children are bad. It is horrific, however, if those
feelings are exploited to abuse the child. Where the line is between loving
contact and abuse, however, has to be part of your thesis.
> Little Harry is absolutely tops. I love it. As a former teacher and
writer, take it from me, your English is excellent. Your subject matter is
strong and gripping. Your compassionate handling of the story line reaches the
heart. I eagerly await your further instalments.
> I salute you sir for a most impressive debut in a foreign language.
Your story is charming and you have a real gift for narrative. I hope that you may continue to write in similar vein.
> I wish to add that you show a deep insight into the working of the
mind of the broken or hurt and the important part that listening and
interpreting is of any really meaningful relationship.
> What a wonderful story, please don't stop! You certainly know how to write good story! More
please.
> This is my first time to respond to any stories that I read. I love
your story I just can't wait to read all of it. It touches my soul. I love it.
I have been thinking that I should wait till you finish before I read any more.
I hate to wait to see what happens next.
> WOW... after running across this neat story of love and compassion;
I must tell you how much I am enjoying it. You are doing a marvelous
job. Thanks for writing this for us. Love Is The Key.
> So many glowing words have been said about your story,
that it would be repetitive of me to go on about it. The truth has been
told to you. You are a gifted story teller, a person that shows the depth of
his heart and love through his words.
> The more I read of this story the more I fall in love with Harry.
For all that he has been through he is wise well
beyond his years. In the short time he was been with Big Harry his self
confidence has grown by leaps and bounds. I look forward to each new chapter to
see how this young man will grow and how his and Big Harry's life will continue
to be blessed. You have a truly great story here.
> Of all
the stories I have read in the last 3 years only 4 or 5 have drawn me in the
way Little Harry does.
> Harry, what a tremendous job you are doing with this story. Thanks
for writing it for us. I can hardly wait for the next chapters to read the
adventures these three are going to be involved in. Thanks.
> I'm fascinated by where you are going with your paranormal portions
of the plot. They have real possibilities. You are keeping them in the realm of
rationality rather than science fiction. I'm not terribly interested in
paranormal phenomena but neither do I reject the possibility of their
existence.
> I read your story yesterday with much pleasure and hope you will
continue it as it is extremely well written and has a wonderful story line. I
can tell you are a very caring and sensitive person from the way you write.
> So You are professional - well I thought
so. Your insight is far beyond the common man. My background apart from the
official one that i published is that i was professionally dealing with abused children as well.
I know from that and have also felt on my own body, the immense damage gossipers
- anonymous informers and preoccupied prosecutors can cause, and they are very
difficult if not impossible to make to understand the essences of trust and
honest human relations, just because there are also bad people out there.
> Your story is so realistic with today's life. We have busy body's
that try to ruin good things. The road of life is too rocky without someone
making it harder to trod. I feel sorry for "Big Harry" and am really upset
with the police Gestapo tactics. Harry is guilty until he proves himself
innocent. The constitution says YOU ARE INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.
> I continue to love this story and the way you are telling it....so
much compassion and love. God, people
can be so cruel........of course, under the circumstances and the way the world
is.....it is completely believable that people can be so insensitive. Please
know that you are appreciated; and keep up this excellent writing.
> The chapters keep getting more feeling and compassion as the story
goes. I can feel the love that Big Harry has for his boys and we need more Big
Harry's in this world instead of all the non caring sperm donors just getting
their rocks off. I could truly feel Big Harry's pain at the time of his loss of
his boys in my heart and I cried with him. Please keep on writing. You amaze me with your professional insight
and knowledge of the true world. Your story is one of the most inspirational I have ever read and I hope more
people are inspired to do good by reading your essay.
> Wow that was interesting. I liked how you showed his depression and
how the boys were treated. I can't wait to read more. I have enjoyed this story
and you have done an excellent job showing all the emoitnal
ranges there are. Keep up the good work.
> And so, you continue your beautiful story. How lovely! Yes, the
world is full of people who think they are doing good,
but actually, perpetrate evil. They get so fanatical about it that it's hard to
tell them from Nazis of an earlier era. We have them in the U.S., and I'm sure
that you have them all through Western Europe. There is much evil in the world
and it often masquerades as good.
> I seldom write to the authors, but I want to add my praise to the
others for your interesting and warm story. This is so much more of a
believable story of love, that it's great to read.
Many thanks for your good work.
> Well done again. I like it, and also the comments
you get from, what I can only describe as a group of quality readers. I think
the story - together with the comments - make quite an impact and hopefully is
making more people reflect about what is what and what
is really right and wrong in the physical world that our bodies live in.
> Hi I am reading one of the best stories I have ever read in a very
long time. Each chapter is a new turning on and I check every day for the next,
your understand of how boys think is first rate your english
is very good and precise. Have you other written work in english,
or stories in you own language, so much I like to know but I must not hold you
up from writing. keep up the good work. Lots of Love and Peace.
> Hi thanks for the story, i have never
read anything like that before and I was really crying after reading all
chapters, that's magnificent and really can absorb you into it, i felt like i was in the story
myself, man, i can relate to harry to tell the truth,
in every possible way, but i really tell you just
keep up the good work, congrats, and god bless u.
> Thank you so much for writing this. So many boys grow up in our
world unloved in the way that ALL boys need to be loved - just for themselves
alone - because they ARE. Your wonderful descriptions of the love shared by
your characters in the story will surely strike a chord in the hearts of your
readers. You have my admiration, and my love.
> I love your story. I have been on the edge of my seat and read all
chapters in one sitting. You have put me through the emotional rollercoaster
and I love it! I look forward to your next chapter. Keep up the good work my friend. Your story is excellent
and your are showing all of the emotions that a person
has, how they can be dealt with through love, kindness and
caring. Thanks.
> This is by far the best story. I read the first ten chapters last
night until I had to force myself to sleep. I read the rest tonight, and I just
had to write to tell you what I thought! You truly have a talent for writing
and I hope you will continue the story for a long time. Your characters touch
my soul, I also admire your courage to tell it like it is: just because a man
cares about a boy, and cares for him, and even if the man and boy are often
cuddling, clothed and unclothed, and even if the boy is comfortable naked with
the man, it is NOT always sexual. Men who are caring and sensitive enough to
show their love to a boy who wants, needs, and returns that love are too often labeled as pedophiles or
predators by a society driven by a "protect the children" hysteria.
"Pedophiles," many of whom haven't the
slightest sexual interest in children and are quite mainstream in their sexual
orientations, are hunted, denounced and punished in modern-day witch hunts. I
applaud you for showing that men and boys can express love and tenderness by
physical closeness without the man coercing sexual acts from innocent and
frightened children.
> I discovered your story three days ago and now I'm ready with the
last chapter, and I want to give you my deep thanks for this wonderful story.
Your story is exceptionally well plotted and shows a deep understanding of real
love! In my experience there are lots of good and VERY important friendships
between men and boys.
> Well .. u did it
AGAIN! Got me to sniffling with the reunion of Jason & Carl
.. The Chapters are wonderfully written even if English isn't your
natural tongue. The story is totally being written from the heart and it is
fantastic! Keep it coming:-)
> I love this story and I can't wait to read more of it. You
have shown us love that has no limits and understanding that can't be
understood by everyone. Please keep up the great story. Thanks.
> Thanks so much. What I really love is the kids
being able to trust the "adult" figure. Lately, many of the stories
on the net focus on kids and teens not trusting the adults in their lives and
instead go into this "brain screw" mode that more often than not
leads to worse consequences. It is truly refreshing to see a story where kids
trust that adult figure to do the right thing and not hurt them. As always, I'm
really looking forward to more.
> I am so glad you are rewriting your beautiful story. I could see that you
were not able to write what was really in your heart and your mind in the first
version, and it distressed me, because I could see into your heart and it is
beautiful. I could feel the frustration of struggling to get what you wanted to
say down on paper in an unfamiliar language, and I was in awe at how
wonderfully you did it. Now you are more competent, I am looking forward to an
even more beautiful version, and I will save it to disk, so I can read it
whenever I am having a hard time with my own life.
> I just want to join the long list of people to congratulate you on
this truly excellent story. I only just started reading it this morning and I couldnt stop reading. I now eagerly anticipate the
continuing chapters. It is very heartening to read a story like this as it
speaks to the goodness of love and family. I must tell you I was moved to tears
on more than five occasions reading it all. Keep up the fine writing... it is
truly appreciated.
> Thank you very much for your fascinating stories. I read it in a
very short time and It was a very wonderful story. I
agree with your lesson of life : don't bottle anything
up ; don't judge anybody but try to understand him… I hope your story
still go on for a long time.
> I think I’m in love with this story. You are writing a
beautiful story, sort of a love story. A compassionate story,
a story from the heart. May you find as much pleasure in writing the
story as I am in reading it.
> Today and a thought came to me.
I suspect you are more “tuned in” to the spirit world than
most of us. Could it be the spirits are
helping you write the story? To provide
an example of the kind of love we should have for one another and an example of
the kind of fathers we should be? It
might not be so that you recognize their assistance but still, I wonder.
> Harry I have read many stories on authors own sites. Most of them
are shit but some have a message and/or depth. I sure hope that a lot of people
can come to see the world clearly like U do. Regards Respect and Love
> Hello. This is just a little thank you note. I just finished reading. What a wonderful story. Its full of the kind of love and compassion that is so rare in the world today. The kind of healing love that it radiates can only come from a great and loving heart. Oh I'm sure you have your faults... we all do. But lack of love and under standing is certainly not one of them. This story is a reflection of the light in your heart and mind...and for that I thank you...much love.
> I am also a writer and I just discovered your story. I'm sorry to say that, so far, I have only read a couple of chapters but, even now, I can already tell that you are quite a prolific writer and I can't wait to find out more about your work!In my opinion, judging as briefly as I'm doing, you seem to be pretty gutsy and I applaud that.
> All I have to say is Thank you. Thank you so much. I won't cheapen the emotional thank you that I feel by going on and on, however, I will tell you this. I am sincerely touched by your work and I can only hope everyone would be able to read such a poignant and touchingly honest story.I will be looking for more of your work and, again, I thank you.
Thank you, thank you so much for all your wonderful comments! Now, I am blushing
too much...
